PELADOW 90% calcium chloride is a pelletized calcium chloride product. PELADOW 90% calcium chloride meets ASTM D 98 and AASHTO M144 requirements for calcium chloride purity. ASTM classification for PELADOW 90% calcium chloride is “Type S, Grade 2, Class B.”

Applications
PELADOW 90% calcium chloride is recommended for deicing asphalt and concrete surfaces that have been designed and constructed for winter conditions. Fast melting action and cold temperature performance are two properties of PELADOW that distinguish it from other deicers. These attributes stem from the ability of PELADOW to release heat as it melts snow and ice. PELADOW also has a number of different uses, generally industrial in nature. These include brine refrigeration, wastewater treatment and as a source of calcium for chemical processing.
